My wife, Cayla, and I have been married for almost 5 years, meeting back in high school on the east coast. Our passion for the local church and adolescents has taken us across the world, serving with Youth For Christ in Europe. For the last seven years, I have been working with teenagers as a teacher, coach, administrator, and pastor. Cayla and I both grew up in the church and deeply believe in becoming more like Jesus and living on mission for the sake of others. As image bearers, we follow Jesus’ model of leaving people and places better than we found them. We are passionate about helping teens make faith their own, developing leaders, and creating lasting relationships in the process. We are former collegiate athletes and recent graduates from Denver Seminary (Cayla-MA Counseling, Logan-MA Leadership). As a proud West Virginian, “Country Roads” brings a tear to my eye. I love all things basketball, all things outdoors, and adventuring the mountains with Cayla and our German Shorthair, Dirk.
